This procedure allows those foreign persons, who have an Estampado Electrónico available and who at the time of verifying their personal information find an inconsistency, to request the rectification of the same.
STEP 1
Go to Portal de Trámites Digitales
Then select Rectificación de Estampado Electrónico and click on Iniciar.
STEP 2
You must read en qué consiste el trámite (what does the procedure consist of?) and go over the conditions. Then click on Certifico que he leído y que entiendo las condiciones del trámite que completaré (I certify that I have read and understood the conditions of the procedure I am about to complete).
Then click on Siguiente.
STEP 3
Following that, enter your personal Information: name, father's last name, mother's last name, ID number, sex, date of birth, country of birth, and current nationality. When finished, click on Siguiente.
STEP 4
You must enter your contact Information, including your region and commune in Chile, street, number, apartment, cell phone, and e-mail. Once you have completed all of the steps, click on Siguiente.
STEP 5
You must select the type of request: Rectificación de Datos. Then click on Siguiente.
STEP 6
You must upload a file containing your documento de Identificación. Then click on Siguiente.
STEP 7
Next, you will need to select which item you need to rectify from your Estampado Electrónico. Note that you can select more than one option. Then click on Siguiente.
(In this case, we will select the middle name).
STEP 8
If we choose the middle name, for instance, we must specify the name to change. After that, enter the correct name and attach a document that validates the information before clicking Siguiente.
STEP 9
By this time, your application will be ready to be sent to the Servicio Nacional de Migraciones. Click on Enviar Solicitud to complete the process.
STEP 10
When your Rectificación de Estampado Electrónico request is received, you will be notified via e-mail.
